Eggcellent Easter fun enjoyed at Hetton on Good Friday

Hetton youngsters enjoyed a morning of fun at an Easter Egg Hunt organised by Hetton Town Council on Good Friday.
More than 300 children, parents, grandparents and carers attended the event, with surprise appearances from Alice in Wonderland and The Mad-Hatter.
Nearby resident Leanne Emery, said “It was wonderful to see the local park used to bring people of all ages together.
The free event was a very welcome bit of fun, especially at this time of increasing costs for entertaining children during the school holidays.”
Graeme Keedy, Hetton Town Clerk added “This is the second Easter Egg Hunt arranged by the Town Council. Thankfully, the weather held and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves.”
